Online Program // CUratorial Talk // Humberto Moro
Join Humberto Moro, deputy director and senior curator at Museo Tamayo, with Owen Duffy, director of the Yeh Art Gallery, in conversation about their curatorial process. Moro and Duffy will present case studies from two exhibitions and discuss how they work with artists, how artists can build relationships with curators, and how a curator’s work impacts the institutions they operate in. The talk will be followed by a Q&A with the curators.

Humberto Moro is deputy director and senior curator at Museo Tamayo, curator at EXPO Chicago, and adjunct curator at the SCAD Museum of Art. He has previously held positions at the Park Avenue Armory and Museo Jumex, and received the 2016 Estancia Tabacalera Research Award for Latin American curators. Moro holds a BFA in painting from the Universidad de Guanajuato, and an MA in curatorial studies from Bard College.
